Running Shoes
Worried with your waistline? Thinking of having a run in the park daily? But are you thinking about getting yourself a proper running shoe? Running shoes are of vast importance to the runners, not only to the professionals, but also to serious amateur runners who jog daily. Running shoes not only provide proper protection & support to the runners' feet, they also help to perform the running efficiently by specialized padding mechanisms.
Running shoes are meant especially for the running purposes. The running shoes contain an outsole, which forms the undersurface of the shoes, an insole on which foot rests, and a midsole. The outsole is usually made of carbon rubber or materials similar to it. It resists frictional forces & provides adequate traction to the runners' feet. The midsole is the most important part, as it provides the necessary cushioning & stability. They are made up of polyurethane (PU), or, ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), or, combination of them. Often, the medial side of midsole contains firmer material to limit foot pronation of foot during running – then it is known as dual density midsole. The upper is made up of light, breathable leather or synthetics. The back of upper and the tongue of the running shoe are padded to reduce friction with tendoachilis & shoe laces respectively. Running shoes also have a firm heel-counter to control motion of rear feet.
Several brands are manufacturing running shoes for men, women & kids. Choose the one which fits you most.
